  • Disco Demons

Disco Demons was started in the spring of 2008 by Jakob Bouchal as a personal blog, based in Austria, written in German – without any intention of starting a music blog. • Muumuse

MuuMuse is music news, reviews, interviews, and up-and-coming artists too. From time to time, I will cross barriers to write about the fashion, design and styles that inspire me. After all, music and art inextricably linked. Just ask Lady Gaga. Oh, and yes–there’s an entire section devoted to Britney Spears. Deal with it.

  • Pigeons And Planes

I started Pigeons and Planes in late 2008 because I realized how much effort it took to stay up to date on the music I liked. I couldn’t just go to the big hip-hop blogs, I wasn’t satisfied with depending solely on the indie blogs, and there were thousands of things in between that I always struggled to keep up with. I started putting everything I liked into one place, whether it’s the starving artist or the industry darling - whether it’s polished mainstream hip-hop, an electronic remix, or gritty indie rock. This is what I love. Pigeons and Planes. Pigeons are the starving artists that eat crumbs off the street to survive in a world that wasn’t built for them. Planes are the finely tuned, big industry names that are affiliated with corporations, expensive tickets, and the masses. Since a lot of people ask, that’s the basic idea of the name. It’s come to take on a few other meanings, but use your imagination. The main idea is that good music of all kinds takes flight here.

  • Pretty Much Amazing

Pretty Much Amazing was started in the summer of 2007 by Luis Tovar and since then he has welcomed many other music geeks to join him in his quest to spread the love and call the bullshit that is sprinkled throughout today’s music. The average PMA reader comes in many shapes, sizes, and with many credentials, ranging from Artists and Repertoire executives, hipster DJs, and everyone in between. In the two short years it’s been on the internet, Pretty Much Amazing has introduced a successful podcast, popular recurring columns, and commissioned popular releases.

  • Stoney Roads

Stoney Roads showcases new and talented dance and indie artists. We do not condone posting of full quality releases. Without money going back to the artist we are merely shooting ourselves in the feet. Think before you post!

  • Tympanogram

an examination used to test the condition of the middle ear and mobility of the eardrum, and the conduction bones by creating variations of air pressure in the ear canal. Basically, it sounded like a cool name for a blog intended to be primarily about music. We’d both had other blogs previously, but over beers it was decided that more damage could be done as a joint venture. And here we are. We share a passion for the undiscovered and under-appreciated, and hope that you’ll be able to find something you love as well.

  • Too Many Sebastians

Too Many Sebastians is two people, one boy (English), one girl (Japanese). Initially it was just messing around on the internet making strange images/music. In late 2007 it vaguely became a blog meant for friends who liked our taste in music. In May 2008 we started recieving emails from people we didn't know asking us to post their music, it was quite an exciting experience and we began to do so....

  • Vinyl & Vodka

Vinyl & Vodka began as a pop culture, gossip and music blog titled Mossip. Mossip was a success, but musical tastes change and I was out to make a new, more modern blog that mirrored my personal interests. Vinyl & Vodka is everything I hoped it would become.
